Hello and welcome back to my free inquiry blog where I try and make new things every week.
In all honesty, I had a long week. I was feeling super tired, did not have any groceries, did not find the time to get any groceries, so my plan to make lettuce wraps did not go as planned.
As I am disappointed in myself for not fulfilling my own expectations, I know that sometimes it is okay to allow ourselves to take a break. Life gets mentally, physically, and emotionally busy! I bet we all feel a little more tired than usual at this time of year.
Regardless of feeling tired, I still needed to eat. So, for the past couple of days, this has been my go-to, super lazy meal. It is so simple and effortless – perfect for a tired student.
All I did was cook 1 cup of rice in the rice cooker, and add that in a bowl with chopped-up cucumber, Kewpi Mayo, Furikake rice seasoning, and a little MSG. And it is delicious. Take a look below!
