Welcome back to my journey teaching myself how to cook! This week, I made noodles! Originally, I planned to make soba noodles. When I went to the grocery store this week, I could not find any – so I settled for udon noodles. Firstly, I boiled the udon noodles for about 3 minutes and then I strained them. I then took this sesame sauce that I got from the store and mixed that with siracha sauce to make a super delicious spicy sesame sauce. I mixed the sauce in with the udon noodles, then cut some green onion for garnish and topped it off with some chilli flakes and Herbamare organic sea salt.

Although this was super tasty, I felt a little disappointed as I felt like I did not push myself to cook something more out of my comfort zone. Being said, this coming week my goal is to cook something a little more advanced.
