Final Inquiry Reflection!

This inquiry project experience was honestly a great way for to me challenge myself into putting in effort to make 1 meal a week that I was proud of.

This was a great way to push myself out of my comfort zone and learn how to meal prep and plan. I also learned throughout this process the importance of picking meals that have multi-use ingredients. I made that mistake a couple times at the start and found that I had random food items that I could not really use for any other dish.

This also was a good way for me to be mindful of what I was eating, especially since I was able to see what I was putting into my meals.

I learned that cooking meat, especially chicken, was something that scared me a little! I think that the fear that I was not cooking it all the way through was intimidating, and so for a while, my protein intake in these meals was lacking.

I also was not a huge fan of beef before this, but once I realized that ground beef was super easy to cook and was a little easier to maneuver than chicken, I enjoyed it! And it also helped me get the protein I needed.

Speaking of ground beef, I think the meal that I made that I was most proud of was the most recent one I made! Taco salad!

I am super grateful I was able to experience this and it taught me a lot about myself and my cooking skills! Thank you, Rich!
